We are looking for a youth worker to start immediately to work within an organisation specialising in supporting young people leaving care. Based in EASTBOURNE this post requires someone who is flexible and who is looking for a part time post.
DUTIES
Supporting several young people with budgeting and basic life skills
Supporting young people back into education or employment
Support the young person with any court proceedings that may be taking place
Help the young person with applying for housing benefit and any other benefit entitlements
REQUIREMENTS
Must be based locally
Minimum of 2 years experience working with young people
Experience of working with hard to reach young people.
Willingness to carry out any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post
Pay £9-11 per hour
