We are looking for 3 qualified and HCPC registered social workers to support our Child in Need work.

The Commissioning and Prevention strand of the Children’s Schools and Families Directorate brings together a combination of commissioning & quality assurance functions and a range of statutory and non statutory (Early Help and social care) services under the umbrella of the newly created Surrey Family Services.
Our specialist adolescent service, Surrey Youth Support Service (YSS) delivers s.17 Child in Need (CIN) services to young people aged 14 plus. Reporting to one of our Consultant Social Work Practitioners and working alongside youth support officers in one of our borough teams you would be the allocated social worker for a number of Children in Need held within the team. Our services are committed to relational restorative approaches to work with children, young people and families and we are looking for colleagues who embrace such an approach.
